I took a week off last week and as luck would have it, timed it perfectly with the most epic snowfall in Tekapo, I honestly can’t say I’ve seen that much snow in a very long time, then on our last morning we were treated to this hoar frost in Twizel, apparently it’s notoriously hard to predict as it has to be the perfect set of circumstances for it to happen. Temperatures below freezing, air highly saturated with moisture and no wind ❄️ Bucket list photos ticked off. #hoarfrost #twizel #twizelfishing #mackenziecountry
